THE DC&F PROCESS
It all starts with an idea. Planning is the process of defining the goals for the project and evaluating the feasibility of the plan. This is where DC&F Corp. holds extensive consultations with all the stakeholders in the project. We ensure that we have a comprehensive and realistic project plan that is clearly articulated, feasible and fits into the project’s budget and schedule.
During Preconstruction, we collaborate with the architect and design teams to produce documentation for permits and approvals. Our focus at this stage is on developing a total project budget and overall schedule, risk management, contracts, insurance and other organizational business. We ensure effective communication between project team members so that everyone is on the same page and working towards a common goal.
This is the execution phase where all the planning will pay off. As the hub of communications for the project, we transition the project into actual construction. Our services include on-site project management, quality control, monitoring safety, coordinating permits, technical inspections and more. From managing budgets and schedules to overseeing trades and contractors, we are closely involved with all the complexities of the construction project.
The final phase is project closure or close-out. As a critical phase, it involves turning over the project to the client so they can transition to occupancy. We provide all project information, a construction closeout document list and all closeout documents such as manuals, warranties, as-builts and final accounting. In every project commissioning, we test all systems for performance to ensure they deliver the specified requirements.
