Applicant requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in multi residential project management including experience in structures above 4 stories
• Underground parking structure experience required including all associated work, shoring, waterproofing, site servicing, concrete forming etc.
• Knowledge of CCDC contracts
• Experienced at writing trade specific scopes of work
• Proficient at analyzing drawings, specifications and reports (geotechnical reports, DSS reports etc.)
• Ability to analyze and make recommendations on changes to drawings, specifications etc. to value engineer projects.
• Strong communication skills

Duties would include:

• Oversee, manage and direct construction projects from beginning to end
• Conduct quality analysis & quality control during preconstruction and construction phase.
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan all construction operations and schedule internal labour and sub trades to achieve project schedule
• Supervise the work of internal labour as well as subtrade labour
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
• Evaluate progress and prepare job reports including, progress reports for cost consultant and financial institution review, payment certification and general project evaluation.
